As a Technical Account Manager, you will play a vital role in helping our On-Ramp customers maximize their value from cloud technology. You will craft and implement strategies aimed at enhancing customers’ adoption and use of various AWS services. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with iconic businesses, from startups to large enterprises, providing guidance on architecture, support strategy, and project planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer
  • Ensure operational health of AWS environments while reducing cost and complexity
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers to understand their business needs and technical challenges
  • Drive discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management using your technical expertise
  • Consult with a wide range of stakeholders, from developers to C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Sales Account Managers, and Professional Services Consultants
  • Identify opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions and conduct pre-launch planning
  • Solve problems as customers migrate their workloads to the cloud
  • Conduct workshops and informational sessions to uplift customer capabilities

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting across compute, storage, networking, or databases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scripting and coding skills in languages such as Ruby, C/C++/C#, Node.JS, Java, Python, or PHP
  • Experience in customer-facing business presentations covering both business and technical aspects
