You will have a direct impact in helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology by crafting and executing strategies to drive their adoption and use of AWS services. Your role involves providing advocacy and strategic technical guidance, ensuring operational health of customers’ AWS environments, and developing close relationships to understand their business needs and technical challenges.

You will partner with iconic businesses from startups building their operations to large enterprises undergoing significant transformations. Key responsibilities include:
- Building solutions, providing technical guidance, and advocating for the customer
- Ensuring AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
- Developing trusting relationships with customers and understanding their business needs
- Driving technical discussions around incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
- Collaborating with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, and Sales Account Managers
- Proactively finding opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
- Solving customer problems as they migrate their workloads to the cloud
- Running workshops and enablement sessions to uplift customer capabilities

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role (Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, etc.)
- Understanding of operational parameters and troubleshooting for two or more of the following: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security
- Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience
- Ability to juggle tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Customer obsession
- Fluency in English or Arabic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Programming or scripting skills (Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, C#, PHP)
- Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, or DevOps Engineer
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (Continuous Integration/Deployment, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
