Technical Account Manager

As a Technical Account Manager at Alibaba Cloud, you will act as a customer advocate, providing proactive services to enhance the operational health of customer cloud IT systems in your assigned accounts. Your role will focus on increasing customer satisfaction, reducing support costs, and facilitating awareness of product improvements. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers regarding best practices and drive further adoption of Alibaba Cloud solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring successful operation and realization of value from Alibaba Cloud products.
• Acting as the point of contact for after-sales delivery, offering proactive services and best practice advice.
• Collaborating with various teams to resolve technical queries and meet project timelines.
• Developing a deep understanding of products and technologies to help customers avoid issues, mitigate risks, and manage changes.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is required along with a minimum of 5 years of experience, including solid experience in Java development.
• Background in IT, computer science, or cloud computing with strong knowledge of networking, servers, storage systems, and enterprise applications.
• Understanding of cloud architecture design, methodologies, and practices.
• Demonstrated ability in customer-facing technology consulting roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technical architecture with experience in cloud migration, distributed system design, and high availability/failover strategies.
• Familiarity with Microservices, Containers, or Serverless technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of major cloud computing vendors (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure) and additional knowledge of Alibaba Cloud is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to perform under pressure.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in English.
• Ability to speak and write in Mandarin or Arabic at a professional level is a plus.
