As a Technical Account Manager at Alibaba Cloud, you will act as a customer advocate, providing proactive services to enhance the operational health of customers' on-cloud IT systems within assigned accounts, as part of Alibaba Cloud's enterprise support plan. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring successful operations and delivering value from Alibaba Cloud products to customers.
- Enhancing customer satisfaction, reducing support costs, and raising awareness about product improvements.
- Understanding customers' business challenges and serving as a trusted advisor for best practices, driving the adoption of Alibaba Cloud solutions.
- Being the primary point-of-contact for aftersales delivery of proactive services, best practice advice, and guidance, representing customers’ technical interests within Alibaba Cloud.
- Coordinating with various teams, including Account Management, support, consulting, and engineering, to address technical queries promptly, ensuring project timelines and requirements are met.
- Maintaining deep knowledge of products and technologies to help prevent issues, mitigate risks, and manage changes and incidents.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience, particularly in Java development.
- Background in IT, computer science, or cloud computing, with a solid understanding of networking, servers, storage systems, enterprise applications, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture design and methodologies tailored for applications/websites.
- Proven experience in customer-facing technology consultant roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technical architecture with experience in cloud migration, distributed system design, and high availability/failover strategies.
- Proficiency with Microservices, Containers, and/or Serverless architectures (including tools like Istio, Docker, Kubernetes, and Mesos).
- Insight into major cloud computing vendors, with knowledge of Alibaba Cloud being an advantage.
- Self-motivated, a quick learner, and capable of working under high pressure.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in Mandarin or Arabic at a professional level is a plus.
