In this role, you will partner closely with the direct sales team to provide technical and solution expertise across Grid Software offerings, focusing primarily on Advanced Energy Management Systems (AEMS) and Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) within the GridOS portfolio. You'll play a key role in promoting the value of GridOS solutions, helping customers across Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East unlock efficiency, reliability, and innovation in their energy systems. Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor on the Commercial Sales Team, aligning capabilities to specific outcomes, creating reference architectures, and calculating potential solution value.
- Maintain a strong understanding of power system operations — generation, transmission, and distribution fundamentals.
- Possess hands-on knowledge in SCADA protocols and functions; EMS, DMS, and WAMS knowledge is advantageous.
- Understand cloud and hybrid architectures.
- Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or for customers.
- Serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Power Systems or Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Transmission and Distribution Grid Applications within a utility or similar business to the company - Electrification Software business.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Amazon AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Equivalent.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role.
- Ability to converse in Arabic to a business level.
- Interest in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the grid sector.
