The Technical Architect will act as a bridge between technical strategy and implementation, driving architectural consistency while remaining hands-on in guiding system design, documentation, and evolution. You will help define the backbone of our technology by analyzing, documenting, and improving complex systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that our technology scales with our ambitions through robust architectural designs for various systems (apps, SDKs, SaaS platforms).
Responsibilities:
- Design scalable architectures tailored for our tech stack.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into forward-thinking architectures.
- Review technical proposals for alignment with architectural principles.
- Promote best practices and standards across the organization.
- Document existing architectures and visualize system designs.
- Identify and record Important Technical Decisions (ITDs).
- Mentor engineering teams in system design and architectural principles.
- Stay updated with new tools and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years in a Technical Architect role or similar technical leadership position.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and/or C++.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and refactor complex systems.
- Deep understanding of architecture principles and modern system paradigms (microservices, event-driven architectures).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps principles.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Excellent English communication skills.
