Key Responsibilities:

Hands-on Engineering: Develop and deliver scalable applications alongside feature teams. Ensure compliance with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), TDD, SOLID principles, and Hexagonal Architecture for cloud-native applications.

Software Factory & CI/CD: Design and enforce CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab CI/CD. Establish code review standards and trunk-based development, and implement static code analysis with tools like SonarQube.

Cloud & Platform Engineering: Design cloud-native architectures on AWS and Azure. Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and apply cloud security best practices.

Reusable Engineering Assets: Develop shared libraries, frameworks, and project templates. Standardize engineering practices across development teams.

Team Enablement: Mentor developers on best practices, conduct pair programming, and organize technical workshops to foster knowledge-sharing.

Developer Community: Lead Communities of Practice (CoP) and maintain engineering playbooks, standards, and reference architectures.
Expected Deliverables:
- Engineering Playbook covering key methodologies and standards.
- Reusable libraries and standardized CI/CD pipeline templates.
- Monthly code quality and engineering maturity reports.
Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Expertise in Java (Spring Boot), C# (.NET Core), Python, or Kotlin.
- Strong knowledge of DDD, TDD/BDD, SOLID Principles, Hexagonal/Clean Architecture, and Twelve-Factor App methodology.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services and event-driven architectures.
Domain Knowledge:
- Capital Markets / Investment Banking, including Trade Lifecycle and Risk Management.
Soft Skills:
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
