The Technical Architect is responsible for successfully designing and leading the delivery of complex solutions for our customers. This role involves utilizing products, APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, mobile development technologies, and integration/ETL technologies. As a Technical Architect, you will be both a big picture thinker and an in-depth problem solver with validated experience in integrating systems via APIs and a strong development background. You will design systems that are robust and scalable to align with customer growth plans.

Your Impact
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set expectations.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the platform effectively.
- Lead technical design sessions; document technical solutions aligned with business objectives and identify gaps between current and desired end states.
- Provide oversight and governance of projects while helping define coding standards.
- Lead code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to design patterns during projects.
- Handle the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of an implementation.
- Maintain a target billable utilization aligned with the role.
- Understand project requirements deeply to diagnose and debug issues effectively.
- Participate in pre-sales activities such as technical deep-dive sessions or Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects when necessary.
- Liaise with product teams to support client implementations.
- Travel to client sites for projects, estimated at 50-75%.
Required Qualifications
- Strong CRM experience with a solid background in the platform.
- Senior Leadership expertise.
- Expert-level understanding of the product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds.
- Proficiency in systems architecture and the ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with key design patterns and best practices regarding large data volumes and limitations.
- Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and their impact on platform architecture.
- Knowledge of platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth).
- Experience with data integration tools and integrating with various business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
- Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL).
- Demonstrated expertise in defining system architecture landscapes and delivering comprehensive solutions to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Strong background in the design/development of large web-based systems or complete software product lifecycle exposure.
- Active certifications or the ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
- Evaluation of experience will consider alignment with core competencies for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
