Technical Assistant – Robotics

About the Role
This role involves maintaining showroom robots to ensure they are in working condition through routine testing, charging, software checks, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting. You will ensure that robots and accessories are ready for customer demonstrations, as well as prepare robots for rental and sales projects by handling various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain showroom robots, ensuring they are ready for customer demonstrations.
• Prepare robots for rental and sales projects, which includes:
  • Configuring and branding of robots
  • Setting up announcements and mapping
  • Conducting testing and packing
  • Loading and delivering robots
  • Installing and handing over robots to customers
• Provide basic technical support for sold and rental robots through remote troubleshooting and on-site visits. Escalate complex issues as needed.
• Conduct showroom demonstrations, explain robot features and operations, answer technical questions, and record prospective customer details in the company system.
• Safely lift, move, load, unload, and position robots and project equipment while supporting exhibitions, deliveries, installations, and other technical projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of robotics, software configuration, electronics, and troubleshooting.
• Physically able to safely lift and move robots and technical equipment.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and basic data-entry skills.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and work flexible hours when required.
