Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach, and oversee project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring, and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans in collaboration with the Project Controls department, encompassing scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
  • Manage all aspects of project execution, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy policies and best practices, including monitoring and controlling progress, resources, and financials.
  • Oversee project financials, including invoicing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage risks, ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Ensure consistent application of contract and claims management in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and coordinate procurement efforts.
  • Act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor team members, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration for professional growth.
  • Develop and deploy improved training management systems to track, monitor, and measure the effectiveness of training courses.
  • Identify, develop, and manage a set of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training and development strategies and processes; use data to drive continuous improvement of programs and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
