Technical Consultant

About the Job:
The Technical Consultant role involves contributing to software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code, particularly focusing on complex and critical components. You'll collaborate with team members to meet project requirements, participate in design and code reviews, and provide technical expertise as a subject matter expert in specific domains. Additionally, you'll assist in resolving complex technical challenges, participate in defining software requirements and specifications, debug production issues, and contribute to the assessment and adoption of new technologies and best practices. Mentoring junior team members and fostering knowledge sharing will be key aspects of your responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good team collaboration and communication abilities.
• Willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges.

Other Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or training are a plus.
