Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engineering to interpret and translate product design specifications into actionable manufacturing requirements for suppliers, ensuring alignment with DFAM principles and tolerancing best practices.
  • Participate in supplier technical assessments (SCA) to verify capabilities against material, dimensional, and process requirements for CNC, PCBA, and Cable & Harness commodities.
  • Support in conducting manufacturability reviews, including DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and provide feedback to internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve technical constraints.
  • Support the development and validation of supplier process flows, control plans, and special process qualifications during the industrialization phase.
  • Align and coordinate technical deliverables between Engineering, QA, Supply Chain, and Strategic Capability Lead to ensure cohesive supplier onboarding and qualification.
  • Monitor the execution of technical improvement plans agreed with suppliers, including tooling upgrades, capability expansions, and process stabilization actions.
  • Maintain a detailed repository of technical documentation including annotated drawings, deviation logs, supplier compliance matrices, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Track and report technical alignment KPIs such as supplier capability match rate, design feedback turnaround, and closure rate of technical issues.

Requirements:

  • 5 years in supplier industrialization or technical coordination roles.
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
