Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UAE and international data privacy laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain secure data pipelines.
- Implement data encryption, anonymization, and access controls.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality during migration.
- Coordinate with international offices to uphold data security standards.
- Plan and execute data migration strategies, focusing on data privacy.
- Conduct post-migration data validation and testing to ensure data integrity.
- Regularly review and update data privacy policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in data engineering with a focus on data privacy and protection.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, including UAE data protection laws and GDPR.
- Experience with data encryption, anonymization, and access controls.
- Proficiency in SQL, AWS, and data processing software.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Familiarity with data integrity validation techniques and tools.
