We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to oversee the technical aspects of our production processes, from initial capture through to final implementation and integration. This critical role ensures the seamless execution of projects, advising clients on best practices, and providing technical support across various platforms and devices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of production workflows and the technical expertise to troubleshoot and optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Oversight: Lead the technical aspects of production, ensuring all stages from capture to implementation and integration are executed flawlessly. Collaborate with creative and technical teams to meet all technical requirements while aligning with the project's vision.
• Client Advisory: Advise customers and clients on best practices, technical solutions, and approaches to optimize their projects. Provide expert guidance on achieving desired technical outcomes while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Resolve issues across different platforms and devices, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure project continuity. Collaborate closely with the development team for deeper technical support when complex issues arise.
• Technical Support for Production: Assist in processing technical aspects of projects, including any post-production work required. Ensure that all technical elements are in place and functioning correctly.
• Stage Management (if Required): Serve as a stage manager during production or shoots, ensuring smooth operations by coordinating with various departments and managing technical resources.

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience overseeing the technical side of production processes, including capture, post-production, and integration. Strong knowledge of various platforms, devices, and tools used in production, with effective troubleshooting abilities.
• Industry Experience: 7+ years in a technical director or similar role within the production industry, managing complex technical projects, including live shoots and client-facing advisory roles.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working both with technical and creative teams. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with client platforms or similar tools.
• Previous experience in stage management or related roles within a production environment.

Key Areas of Involvement:

• Production/Shoots: Provide on-site technical leadership and support during productions, managing technical resources and coordinating with departments.
• Post-Production: Oversee technical processes, ensuring seamless integration of all elements while providing troubleshooting support.
