The primary objective of a Technical Documentation Engineer is to create clear, accurate, and developer-friendly documentation of the company's products and open-source technologies. This involves transforming complex technical systems into accessible guides, tutorials, references, and examples to enhance the developer experience (DX). As a Documentation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that every product, SDK, module, and application is thoroughly documented and kept up to date amidst rapid development cycles. Your work will support both internal teams and the global developer community.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, maintain, and continuously improve documentation for the product ecosystem, including SDKs, APIs, libraries, and applications.
  • Ensure the clarity and usability of all documentation tailored to specific audiences.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to create high-quality developer guides and user manuals.
  • Update documentation to reflect product iterations and changes.
  • Develop tutorials and onboarding materials to guide developers and end users.
  • Create example applications and code snippets that demonstrate practical usage.
  • Maintain documentation standards and style guides for consistency.
  • Analyze feedback from users to identify areas for improvement in documentation.
  • Validate documentation by performing hands-on tests of described procedures.
  • Participate in audits to align documentation with product architecture.
  • Support new product launches by ensuring complete documentation of features.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing or developer education.
  • Proficient in Node.js with 2+ years of hands-on coding experience.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern development workflows.
  • Familiarity with self-custodial wallets and major blockchain ecosystems (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
  • Proven ability to write clear and well-structured documentation for diverse audiences.
  • Experience with documentation practices using Git, Markdown, and various frameworks.
  • Familiarity with API documentation tools such as OpenAPI/Swagger.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a remote, globally distributed team.
