The company Renewables is seeking a Technical Due Diligence Intern to support Project Managers and technical teams in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a hybrid working model. Responsibilities
As a Technical Advisory Intern, you will assist the team with the following tasks:

  • Support Project Managers with daily operations of TA projects, including scope, schedule, and budget tracking.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, detailing the scope of work, team, budget, and schedule.
  • Participate in client meetings and conference calls, and track action items and follow-ups.
  • Review electrical design/civil design documents, construction schedules, and CAPEX and OPEX costs.
  • Identify project risks and issues, proposing possible solutions while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical review reports, construction monitoring reports, and operational assessment reports.
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives and team projects, including the support of AI-enabled tools to enhance project delivery and team workflows.
  • Assist with general project and team administration and organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other engineering disciplines related to renewable energy.
  • Interest in project management and the renewable energy sector, particularly in wind, solar PV, and BESS.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems and power system basics (e.g., substations, grid connection, and protection) is advantageous.
  • Previous internship, academic project, or relevant practical experience in renewable energy, power systems, or project management is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in French or other languages is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn, proactivity, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated, versatile personality, and excellent interpersonal skills.
