As a Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with sales and project teams to understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions. You will play a critical role in reviewing technical drawing submissions from the mechanical engineering team, assisting in the development of standardized engineering documentation, and coordinating cross-plant teams to enhance project performance. Additionally, you'll help the project team prepare design drawings and documentation for the Busbar package, establish procedures for product transfers, and support new product development programs.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales and project teams to provide technical solutions based on customer requirements.
- Review technical drawing submissions and ensure compliance before issuing to customers.
- Develop and standardize engineering documentation such as drawings and BOMs.
- Improve project and engineering performance by coordinating cross-plant problem-solving teams.
- Prepare design drawings in alignment with specifications for the Busbar package.
- Support plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of the company's Busbar product range.
- Proficient in PC applications (IFS, MS Office, CADD, PDM systems).
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
- A proactive and flexible approach to teamwork.
- Experience with BIM & 3D drawing packages (Solid Works & Revit) is an advantage.
- Ability to self-manage and meet project milestones.
- Experience in performing engineering tasks involving analysis and design from various instructions and specifications.
- Capable of preparing design models, investigating technical issues, and drafting necessary documents for mechanical design.
- Familiar with preparing bills of material for switchgear assemblies and producing shop drawings for production.
- Actively resolve production floor and site issues, respond to customer comments on technical submittals, and engage in meetings for technical discussions.
- Competence in design calculations including DC load, power consumption, and heat dissipation.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a technical role.
