The Technical Lead – 3A will spearhead the design, implementation, and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and SRE practices for airline and travel technology platforms. Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and optimise fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment, testing, quality gates and telemetry.
- Guide teams on containerisation and orchestration using Kubernetes/OpenShift, including Docker image creation and micro‑service migration.
- Design, implement and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and shared services landing zones.
- Develop observability solutions (monitoring, alerting, log aggregation) using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Apply SRE principles to ensure service availability, performance, latency, capacity planning and incident response.
- Lead reliability and scalability initiatives for a portfolio of products within Agile Release Trains.
- Collaborate with architects and technical engineers to review designs, identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Coach software engineers on DevOps best practices, automation frameworks and cloud adoption strategies.
- Drive multi‑cloud enablement, migration projects and infrastructure‑as‑code implementations (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on DevOps, SRE and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for micro‑service architectures.
- Proficiency with monitoring and analytics tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK).
- Expertise in CI/CD and build automation tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Nexus/Artifactory).
- Strong knowledge of IaC and automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Azure ARM).
- Extensive experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm).
- Advanced scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go) and familiarity with JSON/YAML configuration.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and lead reliability initiatives.
