Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of cross-platform peer-to-peer applications using the Pear Runtime and the Holepunch ecosystem.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between the company development team and Holepunch engineers.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, ensuring the teams stay current with developments.
• Build and maintain flagship desktop (Electron) and mobile (React Native) applications.
• Design intuitive and high-performance cross-platform user experiences for file sharing, messaging, video calls, and collaborative tools.
• Coordinate the translation of product requirements into actionable technical plans.
• Mentor engineering teams and ensure applications adhere to modular design and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Strong production experience with React Native and/or Electron.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading small development teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Node.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with local-first data technologies and secure local storage.
