The Technical Lead plays a crucial role in aligning business objectives with technical execution. This hybrid position involves hands-on engineering, architectural leadership, and team enablement, ensuring delivery excellence through active codebase contributions and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical point of accountability for the Service Market Making Business Unit.
- Balance strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery, ensuring systems are reliable and built to meet both immediate and future needs.
- Champion cross-team collaboration across product, design, QA, and engineering.
- Mentor and develop engineers through feedback and support for skill development.
- Partner with the Head of Engineering to oversee the delivery of work-streams, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Contribute directly through coding, while also focusing on architecture design and peer reviews.
- Ensure scalability, resilience, and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Maintain high engineering standards and best practices in coding and delivery.
- Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years in a Technical Leadership role with experience in guiding teams and delivering complex projects.
- Expertise in architecting and maintaining high-concurrency, low-latency trading systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Rust; knowledge of Node.js and Python is a plus.
- Experience with data-intensive architectures and real-time data pipelines.
- Familiarity with AWS environments and ultra-low-latency workloads.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes management.
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of DevSecFinOps principles for maintaining security and compliance in delivery.
Language Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote global team.
