Technical Leader

This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including product, design, and data to understand customer needs and drive outcomes. You will lead and empower a team of engineers in creating and deploying end-to-end software solutions, focusing on mentoring and retaining talent in a competitive environment. Your responsibilities include guiding the team through software creation that meets business problems while adhering to engineering standards regarding performance and efficiency. The overall aim is to deliver value in small increments.

• Understanding of lean/agile principles and practices.
• Over 6 years of software engineering experience, ideally in an Extreme Programming setting.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical leadership and people management.
• Experience with Distributed Systems Architecture, including Microservices.
• Proficient in Trunk Based Development and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
• Solid experience in developing, monitoring, and scaling web applications and APIs.
• Comprehensive understanding of mobile development life cycles and trends.
• Strong background in automated testing for quality assurance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of quality, performance, monitoring, alerting, and security standards.
