Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical leader/manager to develop a scope of work, plan schedule, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects. Interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, the company Product Engineering, Sourcing, and Engineering sub-contractors.
- Develop specialized knowledge in the discipline while being a best practice/quality resource, aware of the latest technical developments in the area and contributing towards strategy and policy development.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of best practices and integration within areas, understanding competition and market differentiators.
- Use judgment for decision-making and problem-solving in operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering, employing technical expertise for data analysis.
- Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues, potentially leading small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements while developing persuasion skills to influence others.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of experience in EPC project environments within Transmission & Distribution or Power Generation, covering commercial/tendering activities and project technical management.
- Proficiency in engineering disciplines such as civil work, integration design, control & protection hardware, and electrical design.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel worldwide up to 20% or more of the time.
