Technical Manager / Head of Audio

The Technical Manager / Head of Audio will be responsible for overseeing the audio technical aspects of events. This includes collaborating with Senior Project Managers and clients to design and manage all elements related to audio engineering and production. Key responsibilities include:

• Event Pre-planning: Design and manage technical drawings, production plans, labor needs, budgets, equipment selection, and interfaces with warehouse leads and sub-rentals.
• On-site Management/Operation: Deliver world-class service by managing the production plan, budget, and ensuring compliance with the company's production and safety standards. Set up and test technical components, operate designated equipment, and provide leadership to the assigned crew while adhering to health and safety requirements.
• Post-show Management: Handle final labor, time sheets, expenses, sub-rentals, and equipment maintenance. Complete reporting for future events.
• Customer Service: Meet with clients on-site to ensure their needs are exceeded and equipment setups are functioning correctly.
• People Development: Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement among team members, including managing HR activities such as performance management and training.
