Technical Manager / Head of Lighting

The Technical Manager / Head of Lighting will be responsible for designing, pre-planning, and managing all aspects of lighting projects in collaboration with Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Event Pre-planning: Prepare necessary technical drawings, production plans, labour needs, budgets, equipment selection, and manage interfaces with warehouse leads and sub rentals.
• On-site Management/Operation: Ensure discipline meets or exceeds client needs by managing production plans and budgets, while adhering to the company's production and safety standards. Operate designated equipment as needed and provide leadership to assigned crew members.
• Post-show Management: Manage post-show activities including final labour, time sheets, expenses, sub rentals, and equipment maintenance. Collect and report feedback for future events.
• Customer Service: Ensure excellent service to both internal and external customers, addressing client needs on-site and ensuring proper equipment setup.
• People Development: Foster a high-performance culture, manage HR activities, support team development, and promote continuous improvement.
