As a Technical Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering and supporting enterprise infrastructure solutions, focusing on Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, compute, storage, and backup technologies. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure a reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift environments (on-premises and/or hybrid).
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters including provisioning, networking, storage integration, monitoring, scaling, and upgrades.
  • Maintain and manage compute and server infrastructure focusing on performance, virtualization, and capacity planning.
  • Manage storage solutions: SAN/NAS, block/object storage, high availability, replication, and tiering.
  • Plan and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions including backups, replication, restore testing, and business continuity.
  • Work closely with DevOps or platform engineering teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and ensure observability (logging, alerting, metrics).
  • Ensure security, compliance, patching, and adherence to standard operating procedures for compute, storage, and OpenShift/K8s environments.
  • Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
  • Provide documentation, runbooks, knowledge transfer, and training to client teams or internal staff.
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency with Linux/Windows servers, networking, and load balancers.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
