Our Advanced Capabilities team develops operationally relevant wargaming and training solutions for customers in multiple regions. This position is based in a new simulation center in Abu Dhabi, providing training and simulation services to partners and customers in the area. We are seeking a Technical Operations Engineer (TOPS) to join our growing team. The initial role will be based in London, UK, while the simulation center is under construction.

Responsibilities Include:
- Serving in a customer-facing role within the Air Maneuver Dominance / Advanced Capabilities team, working with EDGE and the Emirati Ministry of Defense to develop and deploy integrated hardware-software products.
- Supporting the delivery of contract deliverables, including planning, setting up, configuring, and testing equipment and software for wargaming simulations and AR demonstrations.
- Facilitating in-depth Wargaming Exercises, involving planning, preparation, deployment, and troubleshooting of AR/VR systems and hardware in the field.
- Managing the deployment of AR/VR and simulation hardware during demonstrations and exercises while proactively identifying and solving issues.
- Designing and implementing user feedback loops to improve processes and product configurations.
- Supporting end-users through the development of training content and effective event management.
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team to enhance user feedback and engagement systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Proven experience with diverse clients and operational environments, providing excellent customer service.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and organizations.
- Experience in complex problem-solving, planning, and troubleshooting in dynamic environments.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain necessary background checks and security clearance.
- Willingness to travel and collaborate with teammates in the UAE, UK, and USA.
Preferred:
- Experience in software engineering and troubleshooting AR/VR technologies.
- Familiarity with military operations, tactics, and procedures.
- Experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, and MS Office.
