Technical Operations Manager, Audit, Third Party Data Centers

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and HVAC systems globally. As a Technical Operations Manager, you will oversee colocation operations involving electrical, cooling, and IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with the company's engineering team, hardware operations, network infrastructure, and third-party data center vendors to ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Some duties include conducting compliance audits, performing operational assessments, managing performance issues, and leading audits within regional colocation facilities. This role requires travel of up to 50% to conduct these audits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience in Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, or controls in an industrial/commercial environment
• Experience conducting compliance audits on operational requirements
• Ability to work non-standard hours and varying shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced education in a related field
• Experience in data center environments, including infrastructure operations
• Ability to forecast resource requirements through data-driven methods
• Experience in operational assessments and risk analysis of third-party sites

Responsibilities:

• Conduct operational assessments across the region to ensure best practices
• Perform risk analysis of third-party colocation sites
• Provide technical expertise following incidents and coordinate operational audits
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to guide strategic decisions

Compensation:
Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills and experience. Salaries for similar roles in various locations range from €102,000 to €147,000 (EUR) plus bonuses and equity.
