Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the story content, acceptance criteria definition, and end story "sign off" across team backlogs, ensuring preparation on time for future PIs, refinement with the entire team, and prioritization in alignment with other team backlogs.
- Ensure Technical Debt and Non-functional requirements are captured, refined, and prioritized across all sprints.
- Capture additional BAU, Ceremony, and Spike activities, incorporating them into team backlogs within available capacity.
- Prepare contributions to PI demos, in conjunction with other applicable Product Owners.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of features within technical and team boundaries, ensuring risks and dependencies are identified and contributed back to the Product Portfolio backlog.
- Attend and contribute to key Product Management meetings, particularly PI Planning.
- Define metrics to measure the success and performance of prioritized work, ensuring any further BAU iterations can be proposed and prioritized accordingly.
- Participate in establishing and growing a community of Product Owners, focusing on collaboration and opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Contribute to the Product Management Communities and their ongoing evolution to drive efficient practices and empowered teams.
- Work with team(s) to identify and capture team-driven innovation ideas, consolidating across peer groups for feedback to the TPM community.
Qualifications
- Degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
Knowledge/Skills
- Operations Research, Marketing Science, Information Systems, e-Commerce, or a combination of industry certification and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Global Product (CSPO/SAFe/PSPO) trained and certified.
- 2+ years of practical experience as a Product Owner/Manager in a 'team-facing' capacity with a proven record of driving change and delivering results quickly.
- Experience within a Scaled Agile framework across multiple initiatives and teams is preferred.
- Demonstrated technical or domain expertise in the specific domain or technical area, staying updated with regulatory changes.
- Proficiency with tools for the Product Management aspects of software delivery.
- Strong communication skills at peer, line, and stakeholder levels.
- Ability to build strong relationships with peers and team members.
- Customer-centric mindset with an appetite for identifying and building value.
- Airline offer and order domain experience is preferred.
