Technical Program Manager (Ask)

About the Role
As the company continues to grow, the Technical Program Management (TPM) function has become critical in ensuring we deliver on our product roadmap. This role supports ASK, our agentic platform that helps enterprises and governments search across their data, generate content, and orchestrate multi-agent workflows across the tools their teams already use.
The TPM team is intentionally lean and focuses deeply on areas that matter most, with each TPM carrying dual responsibilities: embedding themselves in one or more teams and owning one or more cross-team initiatives end-to-end. This approach keeps you grounded in the build while allowing you to work strategically across the organization. What You Will Do
In this dynamic role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Execute: Enhance clarity, direction, and scope within your embedded team, collaborating with Product Managers, Tech Leads, Designers, Software Engineers, ML Engineers, and DevOps. Identify and align priorities, deliver projects on time and with quality, dive into PRDs and technical designs to surface dependencies and risks early, and orchestrate work across teams involved. Typically, you will accompany one or two teams in their delivery, handling diverse projects tied to ASK's evolution.
• Influence: Drive at least one complex cross-functional program end-to-end that spans multiple teams, Engineering, Product, and leadership. Lead initiatives to address the needs and challenges that arise with growth and leverage your soft power to influence organizational dynamics and optimize team workflows.
• Cultivate: Contribute to building the TPM function by facilitating retrospectives, shaping ways-of-working rituals, and introducing new operational ideas. Participate in hiring and branding initiatives for the TPM and Engineering functions.

Who You Are
You bring 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or an adjacent role coordinating technical delivery in a fast-paced environment. Backgrounds in engineering management, technical product management, or other production-related roles are welcomed. Experience in engineering is valuable, with the ability to read code and analyze technical designs without necessarily coding yourself.

• Resourcefulness: Thrive in new contexts and navigate environments where the playbook is still being developed, actively shaping processes.
• Technical Curiosity: Engage in substantive discussions about AI concepts, critique designs, identify risks, and ask challenging questions. Familiarity with modern AI product building blocks (LLMs, agents, evals, RAG, orchestration) is beneficial.
• Ownership: Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership by pointing to complex programs you’ve driven that would not have shipped without your efforts.
• Soft Power: Influence without authority, manage pushback professionally, and maintain credibility with engineers, PMs, and leadership.
• Clarity: Connect the dots regarding cross-team dependencies and organizational bottlenecks, striving for shared understanding through clear communication and direction.
  Experience with agentic systems, AI platforms, or enterprise SaaS is a plus.
