Technical Programme Manager — ERP & Data
The company is seeking a Technical Programme Manager — ERP & Data to manage the coordinated delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and data migration workstreams within a major greenfield enterprise transformation programme.
Working under programme leadership, you will combine programme management with technical delivery oversight, bringing functional consultants, technical architects, and data migration teams together around an integrated delivery plan. You will manage workstream dependencies, governance and delivery quality, ensuring alignment with the target architecture and cutover strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Planning & Delivery
- Manage the ERP and data migration workstreams, covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, quality and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain an integrated delivery plan across functional, technical and data teams.
- Coordinate milestones, monitor progress and resolve delivery issues with relevant workstream leads.
- Support programme-level planning, budget management and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate programme documentation, status reports and performance metrics.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Delivery
- Provide technical delivery oversight across Microsoft Dynamics 365 functional and technical activities.
- Coordinate functional consultants, technical architects and delivery teams to maintain alignment across requirements, solution design and implementation.
- Work with the central design authority to ensure deliverables align with the target architecture.
- Track dependencies between ERP delivery, data migration and other programme workstreams.
Data Migration & Cutover
- Oversee the data migration lifecycle, including migration strategy, preparation, mock migration cycles and cutover readiness.
- Coordinate data migration leads with ERP functional and technical teams.
- Monitor migration progress, validation activities and issues affecting delivery quality or readiness.
- Ensure ERP and data migration plans align with the overall cutover plan.
- Escalate risks that could affect migration outcomes, cutover timing or business readiness.
Governance, Risk & Delivery Assurance
- Maintain the workstream’s risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID).
- Prepare clear governance updates covering progress, budget, quality, dependencies and required decisions.
- Identify and escalate material risks, with agreed mitigation actions and accountable owners.
- Monitor deliverable quality and coordinate corrective actions with delivery teams.
- Maintain effective communication across stakeholders and a multi-vendor delivery environment.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Typically 6+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a similar programme management or technical delivery role.
- Proven experience in technology programme or project management.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP delivery, including functional and technical workstreams.
- Understanding of the data migration lifecycle, including migration strategy, mock cycles and cutover.
- Experience managing integrated plans, budgets, resources and cross-team dependencies.
- Experience maintaining RAID, programme governance, status reporting and delivery assurance.
- Ability to coordinate functional consultants, technical architects and data migration specialists.
- Strong stakeholder communication and structured problem-solving skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience delivering ERP transformation programmes, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience coordinating ERP implementation and data migration within the same programme.
- Experience working in a greenfield transformation or multi-vendor delivery environment.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or MSP certification.
- Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
- Arabic language proficiency.
