Technical Project Manager

About the role
As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution and successful end-to-end delivery of implementation projects to our clients. You will join a wider Delivery team of engineers, analysts, data scientists and architects focused on achieving the best outcomes for our clients. You will be part of the Project Management practice, a global network of project and programme management professionals designed to support your career development and ensure you fulfil your full potential. You will be working with some of the largest and most prestigious organisations, as well as collaborating with our delivery partner network, which includes major consultancies and systems integrators.

What you’ll be doing

• Take full ownership of the delivery of the company projects end-to-end, addressing all aspects by actively mitigating risks and issues while driving high standards of quality and best practice.
• Drive successful outcomes by delivering projects in the most optimal way that realize maximum value to our clients.
• Manage the commercial and financial aspects of your projects, working with clients to agree on contracts for professional services, using both Time and Materials (T&M) and Fixed Priced constructs.
• Coach and mentor your technical teams to ensure they possess the skills and capabilities necessary to produce high-quality deliverables for clients.
• Work with a high degree of autonomy and minimal supervision, knowing when to engage the rest of the organization for support.
• Devise critical strategies for successfully managing project stakeholders, both from the client as well as the leadership within the organization.

What you’ll bring

• Accomplished project management professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering complex projects with excellent outcomes.
• Expertise in project methodologies (such as Agile) and the ability to apply them effectively, appreciating how these can scale across multiple teams and functions.
• Broad stakeholder management experience, whether through consultancy or within client-side environments.
• Experience in delivering large and complex data-driven projects through the full software lifecycle.
• Understanding of technical aspects that impact project outcomes, with the ability to identify technical issues and devise mitigation strategies.
• Strong appreciation of business purposes and drivers of projects, directing the team to prioritize their achievement.
• Experience operating in complex multi-team environments and influencing other teams for optimal outcomes.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the capability to devise delivery solutions for client challenges.
• Strong technical communication skills with experience in rapidly changing client environments.
• Excellent appreciation for what constitutes a high-quality, operationally stable system and how to streamline development, release, and operations to achieve this.
• Self-starter with determination, initiative, and tenacity.
• Fluent/native proficiency in Arabic is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE and across the Gulf region as required for business and client engagements.

Ideal candidates will also:

• Have experience with a variety of complex data-oriented projects, particularly in financial services, government, and telecommunications sectors.
