Position

The company Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Services team is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join us in Riyadh, KSA. In this role, you will manage services projects in the region from initiation through to delivery and closure. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria, as well as determine, monitor, and review all project economics including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk.

While effectively managing a project, you will also be responsible for helping instil an organizational project management discipline and serve as an ambassador for the adoption of project management fundamentals, principles, and methodologies with the company's services.

Work Conditions: Full-time, possible travel within KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and Iraq.

Responsibilities

  • Guide project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for the company's services projects with minimal direction.
  • Handle project requirements, scope, and change management issues; ensure adherence to legally binding requirements.
  • Facilitate the development of project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects through an integration of various project management tools.
  • Work with management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules; contribute to the project estimation process.
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on project activities, including subcontractor monitoring.
  • Establish metrics for measuring key project criteria; develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational plans.
  • Participate in status review meetings with project team members and customers.
  • Ensure timely submission of weekly timesheets and timecards.
  • Integrate and apply industry and technical delivery methodologies based on Project Management Institute (PMI and PMP) methodologies, the company's services project management methodology, and systems/software development.
  • Assist in training the project team on the application of appropriate procedures and processes; coach and advise team associates on accomplishing project goals.

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated with 4–6 years of experience in a project management role managing IT-based projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing highly complex projects and multicultural or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in establishing and contributing to process improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical skills and business judgment.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across a diverse management team and a broad spectrum of internal partners independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

  • PMI and PMP certifications or a Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) degree, or other equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, middleware, and open source.
