Responsibilities:
- Understand detailed business requirements and project scope.
- Estimate resources, timelines, goals, deliverables, and measures of success.
- Train the team on application/technology.
- Guide the team in creating a comprehensive project work plan and timeline.
- Conduct and oversee project implementation, regularly evaluating progress.
- Ensure all project information is properly documented.
- Monitor and report on project progress to clients and stakeholders.
- Implement and manage changes to meet project outputs.
- Focus on continuous improvement for productivity.
- Ensure compliance with process/product quality parameters.
- Manage budget and allocate project resources, maintaining project margins and profitability.
- Support presales activities and create/review estimations.
- Act as a mentor for technical solutions as needed.
- Provide subject matter expertise and leadership in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 15+ years of experience with 5 to 8 years of project/program management experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and leading data warehouse projects, preferably within the banking sector.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and project team members.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in data warehouse development.
- Experience with a Tier I BI tool is desired (experience with Power BI or Business Objects is a plus).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- PMI/PMP or Prince2 certification is required.
