As a Technical Project Manager, you will take charge of managing complex projects within a technical or defense-related industry. This Emirati Talent role requires you to lead project planning, budgeting, risk management, and communication with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timeline, and resource requirements. Develop detailed project plans aligned with business goals and monitor them in consultation with the technical team.
- Budget Management: Prepare project budgets, monitor expenditures, report on budget variances, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and assess potential risks to project delivery and develop mitigation strategies to reduce project disruptions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular status updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Time Management: Monitor project schedules to ensure key milestones are met and adjust plans as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure project deliverables meet defined standards and facilitate continuous improvement through quality reviews.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate and manage internal and external resources to optimize usage and prevent bottlenecks.
- Problem-Solving: Identify issues early, implement effective solutions, and manage conflicts among cross-functional teams.
- Project Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, risk logs, and change requests.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- 7+ years of project management experience in a technical or defense-related industry.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to closure.
