Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years in technical project management, focusing on IT infrastructure (networking, cloud, data centers) and information security projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure disciplines, including networking, servers, storage, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), workplace/end user computing, and cybersecurity concepts (e.g., firewalls, access management, threat detection).
- Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and/or PRINCE2.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or other relevant certifications are highly preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, and collaboration tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure of infrastructure and info-sec projects.
- Scope and Requirement Definition: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, working with engineers, security specialists, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation models. Monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular status reports and updates to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of project objectives.
- Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) for security tools and infrastructure services.
- Quality Assurance & Documentation: Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure all project documentation is current and effective.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-project reviews to analyze outcomes, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- PMP / CSM or relevant certifications highly preferred.
