AIQ, a joint venture between Presight and ADNOC, is seeking a Technical Project Manager. This role will focus on the digital technology sector within the oil and gas industry, where you will be responsible for leading projects that incorporate advanced technology to improve operations and foster innovation. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage overall project implementation plans and milestones.
  • Oversee end-to-end project implementation using Agile methodologies.
  • Develop and manage project documentation, including final reports.
  • Report project progress and concerns to the Project Owner.
  • Prepare Tender Packages in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of proposals with assigned focal points.
  • Plan and monitor project execution, particularly involving cloud development.
  • Organize team meetings and Agile ceremonies.
  • Identify and mitigate obstacles, maintaining a risk register and action tracking system.
  • Evaluate team productivity and coordinate releases across teams.
  • Manage project budgets (CAPX and OPEX) and develop operational plans.
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop policies and procedures in line with best practices and company standards.
  • Collaborate with ADNOC stakeholders on project scopes.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 12 years of project management experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects in the Technology and Energy industries, with at least 3 completed projects.
  • Familiarity with AI and Big Data projects and industry safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and proficiency in Jira or similar tools.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing technology and web-based applications.
  • Preference for candidates with on-site experience in reservoir, production, or drilling operations, as well as experience in Data Management and AI solutions.
