Job Summary
This role has been designed as "Onsite" with an expectation that you will primarily work from an office.
As a Technical Project/Program Manager, you will lead customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget, and quality expectations, through planning, controlling, and managing customer projects. You will be responsible for managing corporate, customer, and third-party vendor efforts to plan, sell, and implement solutions to customer problems, while also handling business and team management.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer project delivery.
- Oversee project financials including P&L and meet or exceed SOAR approved budgets.
- Provide reliable financial forecasts to management.
- Drive business development by identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
- Support early qualification and opportunity assessment for large and complex opportunities.
- Manage client relationships, including complex multi-function and global delivery relationships with senior and executive ("C" level) client management.
- Communicate the direct value our capabilities provide to our business partners and customers.
- Lead project team with internal and external resources greater than 40 people.
- Mentor and encourage skill development of project team members.
Requirements
- First-level university degree; advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in project management or in related roles/businesses.
- Previous experience in managing technical infrastructure projects, including product implementations and data center migration projects.
- PMP Certification is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills
The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of key operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management.
