Technical Sales Specialist - Gulf

About the Role
The company is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to support the growth of our Infrastructure Solutions business across the Gulf region. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing consulting and pre-sales responsibilities, partnering with CTOs, IT decision-makers, partners, and internal sales teams to design and position innovative data center, storage, cloud, and AI solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity identification and solution design through proof of concept and deal closure. Frequent collaboration across multiple countries and stakeholders is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and company sales teams across the Gulf region.
• Identify, develop, and qualify infrastructure opportunities related to servers, software-defined infrastructure, and storage solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer and partner technical communities, including executive-level stakeholders.
• Present emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovative solutions that address customer business challenges.
• Design and configure end-to-end infrastructure solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Support account teams with technical presentations, solution proposals, product positioning, and competitive differentiation.
• Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to prepare RFI and RFP responses and support customer evaluations.
• Deliver solution demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical enablement sessions for customers and partners.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution architect, or technical sales role within the IT industry.
• Proven experience working for an enterprise IT vendor, distributor, systems integrator, or technology partner organization.
• Strong understanding of data center architecture, servers, storage, cloud infrastructure, converged, and hyperconverged solutions.
• Experience designing and delivering infrastructure solutions directly to enterprise customers.
• Knowledge of AI ecosystems and platforms, including NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and cloud-based AI technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology and AI-driven solutions.
• Professional proficiency in English, with strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
