Technical Service Engineer

About the Role This role involves working on-site across Dubai, Sharjah, Northern Emirates, and the GCC, providing technical support and service for a range of jewellery machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining equipment while ensuring that customers are trained in the operation of their machinery. Key Responsibilities - Install and commission jewellery machinery. - Diagnose and repair machinery and electronic faults. - Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs. - Train customers on machine operation. - Troubleshoot circuit boards and electronic components. - Read circuit diagrams and wiring schematics. - Work with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment. - Coordinate with international suppliers' technical teams for troubleshooting and support. Equipment Includes - CNC machines - 3D printers - Casting machines - Induction melting furnaces - Laser welding/marking machines - Rolling mills - Polishing/cleaning machines - Electroplating rectifiers - Ultrasonic cleaners Requirements - Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. - 2–5 years' experience servicing industrial machinery. - Hands-on circuit-board repair and fine SMD soldering experience. - Knowledge of power electronics, rectifiers, power supplies, and induction heating systems. - Basic knowledge of PLCs, controllers, touchscreens, and stepper/servo drives. - Jewellery machinery experience is a strong advantage but not mandatory. - UAE driving licence. - Willingness to travel to customer sites and occasionally abroad for supplier training.
