Technical Service Manager

Alibaba Cloud Intelligent Global Technology Services (GTS) is a technical fulfillment and delivery team that provides complete lifecycle services for all types of cloud solutions and customer solutions. The team focuses on delivering high-quality services across pre-sales, sales, and delivery stages, optimizing efficiency, and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with large enterprises to analyze their existing IT architecture and assist in IT planning and design.
2. Aid in developing IT architecture and business processes, including digitalization, cloud adoption, and disaster recovery based on Alibaba Cloud products.
3. Serve as the technical lead and architect for large projects, providing consulting, architecture, implementation, and project management.
4. Communicate regularly with customer teams to create strategic technical roadmaps.
5. Design service solutions that ensure cost-effective delivery of public, hybrid, and private cloud services.
6. Manage the entire implementation and development process, collaborating with internal and external teams to review solutions.
7. Analyze customer problems to develop tool platforms and enhance products and services.

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in technology/solution design and implementation.
2. Background in IT, computer science, or cloud computing, with a strong understanding of networking and enterprise applications.
3. Knowledge of cloud architecture design and familiarity with standard methodologies.
4. Familiarity with Linux/Windows and open-source technologies is preferred but not mandatory.
5. Strong cloud technical architecture knowledge and experience with cloud migration.
6. Experience with Microservices, Containers, and/or Serverless technologies.
7. Understanding of major cloud vendors, particularly knowledge of Alibaba Cloud is a plus.
8. Self-motivated, quick learner, and capable of working under pressure.
9. Strong teamwork, responsibility, and leadership skills.
10. Proficient in English (both oral and written); knowledge of Mandarin at a professional level is a plus.
