As a Technical Service Specialist - (APC/Process Optimization Engineer), you will act as a plant optimization Technical Service Specialist, focusing on APC (Advanced Process Control) for the UAE, Kuwait, and Pakistan regions. You will ensure the service portfolio is delivered effectively according to standard processes and safety guidelines, satisfying customer needs. You will execute technical support, act as a specialist, and solve problems in your area of expertise while proactively communicating with customers and the company sales teams to ensure understanding of customer needs and business opportunities for service growth.
The work model for this role is onsite and contributes to the Automation Energy Industries division in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Main stakeholders include customers, contractors, suppliers, project managers, and engineering colleagues within the company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing directly to Optimization and APC projects from initial site surveys and benefit assessments through modeling, commissioning, and value realization.
- Executing service projects at customer sites and closely coordinating with the Product team across projects in the UAE, Kuwait, and Pakistan cluster.
- Identifying tangible benefits that Optimization solutions provide to customers in the Gulf and Pakistan markets while balancing technical requirements with customer value, delivery quality, and local business priorities.
- Providing technical support and problem-solving in your area of expertise via remote or on-site service in any service category.
- Determining effective service applications, equipment, and methods to develop, market, or manufacture new service offerings that meet customer requirements cost-effectively.

Qualifications For The Role
- Experience in successful implementation and execution of advanced process control and energy & process optimization projects in the Energy and Process Industries.
- Ability to translate advanced process control, process and energy optimization, as well as service concepts and external requirements into clear value propositions and technical requirements for customers.
- Experience with Plant Optimization solutions that leverage products such as APC and specialized performance optimization software to improve processes, reduce energy consumption, and lower emissions.
- Possess enhanced knowledge of plant optimization solutions.
- Passionate about customer collaboration with good communication skills.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with demonstrated expertise across the Oil & Gas and Power & Water industries.
- Comfortable communicating in English with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
