Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Technical Proposal Specialist to join our Bid Studio team! In this role, you will take ownership of the proposal process, from understanding the RFP requirements to coordinating with technical teams, drafting the technical proposal, and collecting the level of effort.
Responsibilities:
- Review requests for proposals (RFPs), invitations to tender (ITTs), and other client documentation to identify technical requirements.
- Liaise with the proposal team to develop a proposal structure and strategy that effectively integrates technical solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, synthesize, and articulate technical information for proposals.
- Ensure technical sections are accurate, well-written, and align with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Draft, edit, and refine technical narratives, methodologies, and approaches, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable content for diverse audiences.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and the proposal team to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
- Participate in proposal kick-off meetings, strategy sessions, and reviews to provide technical insights.
- Research industry trends, best practices, and innovative solutions to incorporate into technical proposals.
- Analyze client feedback to continuously improve technical proposals.
- Maintain and update technical content libraries, templates, and boilerplate materials to support future proposals.
- Draft clear, concise, and compelling technical proposals that meet RFP requirements.
- Collect and compile the level of effort estimates from technical teams.
- Ensure all proposals are compliant with company standards and client specifications.
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Required Skills:
- Degree qualified: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience in managing infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in technical proposal writing and coordination.
- Strong understanding of RFP processes and requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
