The BIM / Digital Delivery Coordinator – Utilities is responsible for leading BIM coordination and information delivery for utility infrastructure projects. This role serves as the key interface between the utilities discipline, technical leads, digital delivery teams, and other disciplines, ensuring that coordinated models, drawings, and project information are delivered to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities
Interfaces the Role Owns
- Interface with the discipline technical project lead.
- Collaborate with the project digital delivery manager and project digital delivery coordinator.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, such as roads, landscape, and structures, as project requirements dictate.
- Lead the interdisciplinary model coordination meetings.
Coordination and Clash
- Manage the model coordination space for utilities, including what is shared and when.
- Own the reported progress position on clash resolution and issue resolution.
- Handle document comments and resolution against BIM models, tracking them to closure.
- Escalate coordination items that are stagnant, including evidence.
Information Management
- Support the master information delivery plan and the discipline task information delivery plans.
- Own data shortcut setup across the coordinated model.
- Arrange the part catalogue and object library required for each project.
- Manage model and drawing delivery into the coordinated environment.
Quality
- Own the discipline model checklist, including the 3D checks.
- Oversee the drawing checklist and ensure CAD standard compliance checks (2D check).
- Ensure production of BIM models meets standards in geometry, attributes, and export to required proprietary formats.
Capability
- Deliver internal training on authoring tools.
- Support bids and tender responses regarding BIM capability, approach, and resourcing.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, architecture, GIS, geomatics, or geography.
- 8+ years in BIM on infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years in a dedicated coordination role.
- Demonstrated experience with ISO 19650 delivery and coordinating more than two disciplines simultaneously.
- Preference for candidates with Middle East consultancy experience.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Technical Requirements
- Expert level proficiency in Navisworks: managing clash matrices, search sets, appearance profiles, and resolution tracking/reporting.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and Revit for models from building and structural disciplines.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360 coordination spaces, or ProjectWise; experience with Revizto is advantageous.
- Understanding of ISO 19650 in practice, including information states, level of information need, and delivery plans.
- Familiarity with data shortcuts, part catalogues, and object libraries; knowledge of Dynamo, Python scripting, or ArcGIS is a plus.
