The BIM / Digital Delivery Coordinator – Utilities is responsible for leading BIM coordination and information delivery for utility infrastructure projects. This role serves as the key interface between the utilities discipline, technical leads, digital delivery teams, and other disciplines, ensuring coordinated models, drawings, and project information are delivered to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

Interfaces the Role Owns
- Interface with the discipline technical project lead.
- Interface with the project digital delivery manager and the project digital delivery coordinator.
- Coordinate with other disciplines: roads, landscape, structures and others as the project requires.
- Manage interdisciplinary model coordination meetings.

Coordination and Clash
- Manage the model coordination space for utilities, including what is shared into it and when.
- Own reported progress on clash resolution and issue resolution.
- Handle document comments and resolution against the BIM models and track them to closure.
- Escalate coordination items that are not progressing, with supporting evidence.

Information Management
- Support the master information delivery plan and discipline task information delivery plans.
- Manage data shortcut setup across the coordinated model.
- Organize the part catalogue and object library needed for each project.
- Oversee model and drawing delivery into the coordinated environment.

Quality
- Manage the discipline model checklist and conduct the 3D check.
- Administer the drawing checklist and CAD standard compliance check (the 2D check).
- Ensure accurate production of BIM models concerning geometry, attributes, and export to required proprietary formats.

Capability
- Deliver internal training on authoring tools.
- Support bids and tender responses focusing on BIM capability, approach, and resourcing.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, architecture, GIS, geomatics, or geography.
- Minimum of eight years in BIM on infrastructure projects, including at least three in a dedicated coordination role.
- Demonstrable experience with ISO 19650 delivery and coordinating more than two disciplines simultaneously.
- Middle East consultancy experience is preferred.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Technical Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Navisworks: managing clash matrices, creating search sets, setting appearance profiles, and resolving tracking and reporting.
- Proficient in Civil 3D and Revit for models received from building and structural disciplines.
- Experienced in using Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360 coordination spaces or ProjectWise; knowledge of Revizto is an advantage.
- Practical understanding of ISO 19650, including information states, level of information need, and delivery plans.
- Familiar with data shortcuts, part catalogues, object libraries; knowledge of Dynamo, Python scripting, or ArcGIS is a plus.
