Technical Support Engineer

About the Job:
To ensure continued airworthiness and provide technical support to maintain the reliability, safety, and performance of the aircraft in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continued airworthiness and technical support across airframe systems, avionics, structures, interiors, engines, and components to address operational engineering issues.
• Review and take action on emergency Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), fleetwide inspections, and away-from-base Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events to ensure airworthiness compliance.
• Monitor the Engineering Daily Technical Status to assess maintenance operations, technical delays, deferred defects, and operational restrictions affecting the company fleet.
• Evaluate and track aircraft defects using Aircraft Health Monitoring (AHM) and AMOS systems to ensure proper troubleshooting, rectification, and follow-up on repetitive defects.
• Interpret technical documentation including ADs, SBs, Component Service Bulletins (CSBs), and other regulatory or manufacturer publications to determine required actions.
• Liaise with internal departments and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to resolve engineering issues and ensure the availability of approved data for aircraft release.
• Provide technical input and assistance during investigations arising from Air Safety Reports (ASRs), Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MORs), and similar events.
• Assist in developing and maintaining processes, procedures, and documentation that support the continued technical operation and regulatory compliance of the fleet.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years).
• Engineering or ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (B2 or B1) or Engineering Apprenticeship.
• Fluent in English.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in relevant qualifications.

ISR Requirements:
Read and comply with the ISR policies of the company, diligently report any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team, and complete all required ISR awareness sessions while following associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.
