Technical Support Engineer

About the Job

1. Provide technical support to the company staff & customers.
2. Develop and maintain knowledge in the company processes and technologies.
3. Perform testing on new and existing technology.
4. Document and communicate test results.
5. Follow and apply the company Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
6. Understand. Create. Simplify.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in programming and script files
• Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems
• Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers
• Ability to use MS Windows and serial port terminal emulation software
• Practical knowledge of the company protective relays & automation controllers
• Ability to use Microsoft Visio
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
