As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers as they deploy, configure, and report incidents with their BeyondTrust products. Your key responsibilities will include managing customer communication and expectations, providing phone, email, and chat support to assigned accounts, troubleshooting and debugging customer problems, acting as the customer liaison to Engineering, Sales, and Field Engineer teams, transitioning product issues to Engineering and tracking product enhancements, escalating critical issues to the Technical Support Manager, and participating in the on-call rotation for the assigned product team.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (preferred), 5 years of experience in enterprise software customer support and/or IT-related support, proficient knowledge of Windows-based server OS such as Microsoft Windows Server, and a strong dedication to customer care with excellent interaction skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in person and over the phone, are essential, as is the ability to understand and analyze customer technical needs. Experience with Active Directory, networking topology/layers, networking tools and utilities, AV/firewall rules and policies, and virtualization is also required.

This is a fully remote position and full-time availability is required. Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
