We are seeking a talented Technical Support Engineer / SL3 Application Owner to join our TechOps team. This role involves investigating and resolving technical questions related to our ecosystem (Binance.com, Mobile Apps, etc.) and requires close cooperation with Customer Support, internal Dev/Infra teams, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and manage urgent escalations from customers or users in a high-traffic production environment.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including customers, product managers, developers, and management teams.
  • Analyze service ticket data to identify root causes of incidents, draft Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports, and follow up on system-level improvements.
  • Work closely with product and development teams in global offices, participating actively in iteration, release, and roadmap planning.
  • Prioritize multiple incidents and deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
  • Focus on continuous improvement in service quality and efficiency.
  • Provide coaching, training, and documentation of customer or business support processes.

Requirements:

  • 4-8+ years of experience in similar roles (e.g., Technical Support Engineer, SL3 Engineer, Application Owner, TechOps Engineer).
  • Strong logical and systematic problem-solving capabilities.
  • 3+ years of experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
  • 2+ years of experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL).
  • 2+ years of experience in web or app support with knowledge of HTTP protocol, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, JSON, Web Services, TCP/IP, Linux/Unix.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and coding standards.
  • Experience with software application debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with technical support processes and escalation management.
  • Passionate about technical support and solving complex customer issues.
  • Ability to communicate fluently with engineers, product managers, and customers.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, or related scientific disciplines is preferred.
  • A background in Software Development is a plus.
