Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide continued airworthiness and technical support across airframe systems, avionics, structures, interiors, engines, and components to address operational engineering issues.
  • Review and act on emergency Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), fleetwide inspections, and away-from-base Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events to ensure airworthiness compliance.
  • Monitor the Engineering Daily Technical Status to assess maintenance operations, technical delays, deferred defects, and operational restrictions affecting the flydubai fleet.
  • Evaluate and track aircraft defects using Aircraft Health Monitoring (AHM) and AMOS systems to ensure proper troubleshooting, rectification, and follow-up on repetitive defects.
  • Interpret technical documentation including ADs, SBs, Component Service Bulletins (CSBs), and other regulatory or manufacturer publications to determine required actions.
  • Liaise with internal departments and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to resolve engineering issues and ensure the availability of approved data for aircraft release.
  • Provide technical input and assistance during investigations arising from Air Safety Reports (ASRs), Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MORs), and similar events.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining processes, procedures, and documentation that support the continued technical operation and regulatory compliance of the fleet.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) in Engineering or ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (B2 or B1) or Engineering Apprenticeship.
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English.

ISR Requirements:

  • Read and comply with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently report any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.
  • Complete all required ISR awareness sessions and follow associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.
