The Technical Support Specialist provides second-level support to identify and solve technical issues escalated by the Help Desk to meet the company standards and SLAs for all Associates (in local and regional offices or working remotely). The specialist will also provide technical expertise on projects, site visits, and Events.

Responsibilities:

  • Escalated Technical Support: Provide hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and information gathering to ensure Associates and infrastructure are operational 24/7.
  • Remote Office Visits: Provide onsite support in remote locations, resolve technical issues, and build rapport with associates.
  • Asset Management: Manage asset life cycles for efficient deployment throughout the company.
  • Events & Symposiums: Liaise with ITIO Event Manager and Events staff to provide technology services, ensuring client satisfaction through effective decision-making.
  • Service Request Management: Document, assign, and communicate all associate interactions to resolve issues and provide process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
  • 1+ years of client service experience
  • 1-3 years in an entry-level technical support role
  • Understanding of networking concepts, servers, and LANs/WANs
  • Familiarity with help desk call logging systems
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft products and platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
